The San Rafael Business Improvement District and Bay Area Pop Up Events are excited to announce, “San Rafael Thursdays,” every Thursday evening through summer (September 29) from 6 pm to 10 pm. featuring alfresco dining under the lights, children’s activities, entertainment, a merchant marketplace, and more. Taking place on Fourth Street in downtown San Rafael from Lincoln to the West End Village (G Street), and on B Street. The sidewalks and streets will be bustling as visitors enjoy warm summer Thursday evenings while dining, shopping, listening to local music, and having fun. Farmers Market vendors will return over the next few weeks. There are partial street closures throughout Fourth Street and the streets between Lincoln and Lootens will accommodate the merchant marketplace and could expand into additional streets as the summer progresses.

On the heels of the success of the pandemic-inspired “Dining Under the Lights,” San Rafael Thursdays is the go-to place for live, local, and safely social entertainment, shopping, and dining. The Bay Area community is encouraged to support the amazing and resilient local restaurants and businesses in Downtown San Rafael.
